McBride & Son Promotes New General Manager for the Louisville Market
Louisville, Ky. . . McBride & Son Homes has promoted Troy Finsel to General Manager for the Louisville Market. Finsel replaces Scott James who has been appointed President of McBride Homes St. Louis and Louisville. James relocated to the company’s headquarters in St. Louis effective July 1, 2006.
On July 1, Finsel bought a larger ownership in the McBride Louisville (which is an employee owned company). As General Manager, Troy Finsel will be responsible for managing everything from purchasing land to closing homes. The company’s goal is to build 300 homes in 2007 and 350 homes in 2008 in the Louisville market. Finsel started his career with McBride in 2002 as Business Manager. Within one year he was promoted to Project Manager with profit/loss responsibilities for the majority of the McBride & Sons Louisville operations. He has cross-functional experience and cross industry expertise and is a results-oriented leader.
Finsel has a B.A. in Accounting from Tiffin University and an Associates in Science-Professional Accounting and Business Administration from Sullivan. He formerly served as a Senior Financial Manager and Controller for D.R. Horton, Inc. and as CFO for Mareli Developement, Inc.
He lives in Crestwood with his wife, Kim and young son, Alexander.
